Alex Donaghy – Service Manager & Partner

About

Alex Donaghy is a cornerstone of Dekor Glass (1996) LTD, serving as both the Glazing Service Department Manager and one of the company’s four dedicated owners.

Alex began his glazing career in 2009 and joined Dekor Glass in 2011 as an apprentice. Through years of hands-on experience and steady progression, he became a Red Seal journeyman, advanced to site foreman, and later stepped into project management and estimating. In 2018, his leadership and commitment were recognized when he became a ¼ owner of Dekor Glass.

As the company expanded, so did its needs—leading Alex to take charge of the rapidly growing service department. Today, he leads the team with precision and drive, finding innovative solutions to the complex challenges that come with service work. Whether it’s tackling tight access points, organizing specialized equipment, or solving unexpected site logistics, Alex thrives on turning obstacles into opportunities.

“I enjoy the unique and often unpredictable nature of service work—it pushes us to think creatively and work smart,” says Alex.

Known for his high level of organization, meticulous planning, and commitment to safety, Alex is a driving force behind the department’s continued success.

Outside of work, Alex lives in Osoyoos with his wife and two daughters, where they take full advantage of the sunny desert lifestyle. He enjoys water sports, dirt biking, fitness, and bodybuilding—always pushing limits both personally and professionally.
